Terms of Use

Welcome to Digitow, a platform specialized in online typing courses and training. By using our services, you fully agree to the following Terms of Use.

This is a translation provided for convenience. In case of any discrepancy, the Portuguese version prevails.

1. Definitions

For the purposes of this document, the following definitions apply:

  • “Digitow”: Digitow Solutions LTDA, owner and operator of the platform and of the websites digitow.com.br and digitow.net.
  • “User”: any individual or legal entity using the Digitow platform for individual (B2C) or corporate (B2B) purposes.
  • “B2C Plan”: individual licenses purchased directly on the Digitow website, without a custom contract.
  • “B2B Plan”: licenses purchased by companies, schools and institutions, subject to a specific contract.
  • “Service”: the software and typing courses provided by Digitow.

Important: these Terms of Use govern self-service (B2C) plans only. Companies and institutions that purchase custom licenses are subject to a specific contract, which prevails over these Terms.

2. Acceptance of the terms

By creating an account and using the Digitow platform, the user declares that they have read, understood and fully accepted this document.

If you do not agree with any clause of these Terms, do not use our services.

3. Free access and benefits

Digitow offers free content to all users, with no payment required. This includes:

  • Typing test;
  • Introductory lessons;
  • Typing videos and tips.

Full access to the typing course requires a paid plan.

4. Account registration and user responsibilities

To access the platform, users must register an account with true and up-to-date information. The user is solely responsible for:

  • Keeping their login and password secure;
  • Not sharing their access with third parties;
  • Keeping their registration data up to date.

Failure to follow these guidelines may result in suspension or cancellation of the account.

5. Technical requirements

To use the platform properly, you need:

  • A computer running Windows, macOS or Linux;
  • A compatible browser: Google Chrome 80.0 or later, or Mozilla Firefox 70.0 or later;
  • A Brazilian ABNT2 standard keyboard;
  • Internet access with a minimum speed of 1 Mbps.

Users should test system compatibility during the free period, before purchasing.

6. Plans, payments and refunds

6.1 Plans and payments

  • Individual (B2C) plans have prices and conditions specified on the website.
  • Payment is made in advance, guaranteeing access to the platform for the contracted period.
  • Payments are currently processed by Hotmart or Stripe.
  • The plan is activated within 48 hours after payment confirmation, usually within minutes.

6.2 Plan duration

  • The contracted period starts counting from the plan activation.
  • The user will receive an activation email; please also check the spam/junk folder.
  • At the end of the contracted period, access to paid features is disabled, while free content remains available.

6.3 Cancellation and refunds

  • Users may cancel their plan at any time, but amounts already paid are not refunded.
  • The service remains active until the end of the contracted period.
  • The 7-day free trial lets users try the platform before purchasing, with no credit card required.

7. Acceptable use

Users must use Digitow ethically and lawfully. The following conduct is expressly prohibited:

  • Sharing login and password with third parties;
  • Using bots, scripts or automation to manipulate course progress;
  • Reverse engineering, modifying or attempting to copy the software;
  • Misusing the platform for non-educational purposes.

Violating these rules may result in immediate suspension of access, without refund.

8. Privacy and data protection

Digitow collects and processes user data in accordance with its Privacy Policy. By using the platform, the user consents to the processing of this information.

9. Corporate plans (B2B)

Companies and schools that purchase corporate licenses are subject to a specific contract, including:

  • Dedicated support for the contracting company (not directly for students);
  • User management through the admin dashboard;
  • Custom plans and volume discounts.

10. Digitow rights and responsibilities

Digitow undertakes to:

  • Provide access to the course as described in the purchased plan;
  • Guarantee a minimum uptime of 90%, except for scheduled maintenance;
  • Provide support only to paying users, by email and within the stated SLA.

Digitow reserves the right to change or discontinue features without prior notice, always aiming to improve the service.

11. Intellectual property

All content made available on the platform (videos, texts, exercises, source code, layout and visual identity) is the exclusive property of Digitow. Users may not copy, reproduce or distribute any material without express authorization.

12. Termination and suspension of accounts

Digitow may suspend or terminate an account in the following cases:

  • Violation of these Terms;
  • Payment more than 30 days overdue (for paying users of B2B plans);
  • Suspicious activity, such as intrusion attempts.

14. Changes to these terms

Digitow may update these Terms of Use at any time by publishing them on the website. Users will be notified of significant changes by email or through the platform. If you do not receive a notification, we recommend checking this page periodically for updates.

15. Final provisions and jurisdiction

This agreement is governed by the laws of Brazil. Any dispute will be settled in the courts of Belo Horizonte – MG, Brazil.

Before any legal action, the parties agree to seek an out-of-court solution within 30 days, upon formal notice.
